1. Sign in to Veeam Backup Server ( credentials in 1Password ).

  2. Click on Tape Infrastructure at the bottom left menu.

  3. Expand Libraries at the to left menu.

  4. Right click on IBM ULTRIUM-HH8(Tape0) and select Inventory. Wait until inventory finishes.

  5. Expand Media and click on Online

  6. Right click on Tape# on the right hand side and select Catalog. Wait until catalog finishes.

  7. Right click on Tape# on the right hand side and select Properties

  8. Change the tape name to sequential ITYYMM

  9. Right click on the tape again and select Move to and select Monthly Archive media pool.

  10. If you need to start the monthly archive backup
    • Click on Home at the bottom left menu.
    • Expand Jobs at the top left menu and select Tape.
    • Right click on Offsite Backup to Tape(Archive) and selct Start
