1. Download and install the Veeam Backup Agent from https://www.veeam.com/windows-endpoint-server-backup-free.html

  2. Find the agent icon at the right of the task bar, right click on it, select "Backup" -> "Configure Backup"

  3. Select a meaningful name for the Backup Job (e.g. Name of user of the computer). Click "Next >".

  4.  "Backup Mode"; select "Entire Computer (recommended)". Click "Next >".

  5. "Destination"; select "Veeam backup repository". Click "Next >".

  6. "Backup Server"; On the "Veeam backup server name or IP address" field, type in las-vm-veeam. Tick the "Specify your personal credentials:" tick box, and enter the credentials for veeam_endpoint user found in 1Password.

  7. "Backup Repository"; Select "Scale-out Backup Repository ()" from the drop-down list and click "Next >".

  8. "Backup Cache"; Click "Next >".

  9. "Schedule"; Configure a daily schedule and click "Apply" then click "Finish".
