1. Navigate to Control Panel > Network and Internet > Network and Sharing Centre. And select Set up a new connection or network.

  2. In the popup box choose Manually connect to a wireless network and click Next.

  3. On the following page enter:

    Network Name  las
    Security Type  WPA2-Enterprise
    Encryption type AES
    Security Key Leave blank
    Start this connection automatically
    Connect even if the network is not broadcasting  ⃞
  4. Click Next.

  5. Click Change connection settings underneath the Successfully added las message.

  6. In the new popup box select the Security tab.

  7. Click the Advanced settings button.

  8. On the 802.1X Settings tab, check Specify authentication mode. Change mode to User authentication.

  9. Click the Save credentials next to the authentication mode dropdown menu.

  10. On the Save credentials screen, enter the users credentials. For students, use their Student Code for the Username and $tDDMMYY for the password where DDMMYY is the students DOB. Click OK. *this step can be completed later if skipped.

  11. Click OK on the Advanced settings popup box to save and return to the las Wireless Network Properties box.

  12. Click the Settings box to the right of the network authentication method.

  13. Uncheck Verify the server’s identity by validating the certificate.

  14. Click Configure… next to the Select Authentication Method dropdown menu and uncheck the Automatically use my Windows log-on name and password (and domain if any). Click OK on the EAP MSCHAPv2 Properties box to save and close.

  15. Click OK on the Protected EAP Properties box to save and close.

  16. Click OK on the las Wireless Network Properties box to save and close.

  17. Once WiFi is connected open Microsoft Edge (or Chrome) and visit http://cert.netbox.

  18. Click the Install Certificate button and select Run. The certificate will download and will notify you once installed.
